An additional Coach, Jens Redlich of the German Bundesliga was a hit with everyone. Host Director of Coaching Steve O'Neil stated"This has by far been one of my favourite camps. Everyone was into it in a big way -from the practice sessions, the drills, to the World Cup Competition where everyone painted their faces and wore team colours. It was magnificient, I was glad to be a part of it.But the crowning glory was watching the kids, they gave it their all. Just Brilliant!!"

August 25, 2002 - Currituck Coaches Clinic
International Soccer Camps will be sending it's representatives to the Currituck area once again this year. President of Currituck Soccer Gary Copenhaver invited the Group out to assist in educating coaches for the club's soccer program. He stated " I think it would be great for our coaches and our program, this is a win win situation for us". John Germanos of ISC made the goals clear. "Our aim is to educate the coaching staff to ways that they may not have thought of for improving quality practices and making drills fun for everyone. If you are not having fun you tend not to be learning too much or taking it in, whether you are a coach or a player"

August 29, 2002 - ISC Coach drafted!
Jenna Szyluk an International Soccer camp Coach and current member of the W-League Hampton Roads Piranhas has been drafted to play in the Professional Womens League in England for Everton Ladies. "It's huge for me" said Jenna" But Steve O'Neil keeps telling me the best thing to do to fit in is wear a Liverpool shirt at training, somehow I think he is winding me up. Last season team mate and fellow ISC Coach Lindsey Nohl played for them and she had an awesome time". Needless to say ISC is very proud of her.

May 23, 2005 - 45 hours of travelling!!
It took 45 hours from door to door, but we managed to get from our USA base to the Beautiful city of Mumbai in India. Phil Rose and Steve O'Neil overcame the travel barrier to put on the first ever soccer camp in Mumbai hosted by International Coaches. Over 80 students packed the Tata Power Sports Complex and were treated to ten days of fantastic weather, fantastic soccer and some great audio/visual presentations.

May 31, 2005 - Coaches are packing their bags!
Steve O'Neil and John Germanos have had successful coaching careers and over the past year have met with some of the games top coaches in Europe and the Southern Continents. But neither realized how often they were travelling over the next few months. The Fall started quietly with an invitation from NSCAA Staff Coach Phil Rose in West Palm Beach, Florida to Steve to join him for a week of select clinics. This was quickly followed by an invitation extended to both guys from Roda JC Youth Director Ton Caanan, of the Dutch Eredivise to spend a week working with the top flight club. Australian World Cup Stars are currently under contract to the Hampton Roads Piranhas of the W-League and were recently visited by Adrian Santrac and Kevin McCormick of the Australian National Team Staff. Both Coaches were on a fact finding mission to discover the types of coaching methods utilized by Team coaches here in the USA. They were highly impressed by the talents of both Germanos and O'Neil and extended an invitation to Australia and to visit the Australian Institute of Sport. As both coaches were trying to work out how they could fit all the travelling into their already packed schedule a call came from Italian Serie A outfit Peruggia with an invitation to Italy in September. Steve O'Neil just shook his head in amazement -I just don t know how we can do it all - and who would you refuse? that's unthinkable almost a crime.- John Germanos was a little more philosophical -When offers like this come along you seize them, everything new we learn will be passed on to our players and our coaches, soccer is an ever learning ever evolving process and we just want to ride that wave.- Whatever they decide, the campers at ISC Camps will be the beneficiaries.
